These are the rules for playing Aethermere. By making an account you agree to them. Last updated: 14 October 2026.
Aethermere is made and run by K. McColl in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@aethermere.com.
You must be at least 13 years old. Your account is for you alone: keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into it.
Aethermere is still being built. Things will change, break and sometimes be put back to how they were. The server may go down, and characters, items or progress may be changed, reset or lost while we fix things. We'll try to warn you first, but we can't promise to.
Aethermere is for everyone. You must not:
If someone breaks these rules, right-click them and choose Report, or email us. You can also choose Block, and you won't see their chat or trade requests.
To keep the game fair and safe we can warn you, mute you, remove things you've posted, take away items gained by cheating, or suspend or close your account. We'll use these fairly and in proportion to what happened. If you think we got it wrong, email us and we'll look again.
Everything in the game, including coins, items and characters, is part of the game. It has no real-world value, you don't own it, and it can't be swapped for money. We can change or remove it as the game develops.
The game, its code, art, music, writing and name belong to us or to the artists who licensed them to us. You may share screenshots and videos of you playing. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without paying you.
We provide the game as it is, for free, during the beta. We're not responsible for losses caused by the game being unavailable, changed or reset, or for what other players do. Nothing in these terms limits anything that UK law doesn't allow us to limit, including your rights as a consumer.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the game (see our privacy policy). We may close accounts that break these terms, or that haven't been used for a long time, and we may end the game altogether, telling players first where we can.
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and tell players in game about anything important. If you keep playing afterwards, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring a claim in your own country's courts.
